The National First Nations Water Leadership Award recognizes First Nations individuals or organizations that have demonstrated leadership and outstanding dedication to the advancement of clean and safe drinking water in First Nations communities, today and for future generations. To submit a nomination, send a completed form to prixdeau-wateraward@sac-isc.gc.ca. Nominations are accepted until March 31, 2023.
Le Prix national annuel du leadership des Premières Nations en matière d'eau vise à récompenser les personnes ou les organisations des Premières Nations qui ont fait preuve d'un leadership et d'un dévouement exceptionnels pour faire progresser l'approvisionnement en eau potable et salubre dans les communautés des Premières Nations, pour aujourd'hui ainsi que pour les générations futures. Pour soumettre une candidature, envoyez un formulaire rempli à prixdeau-wateraward@sac-isc.gc.ca. Les candidatures sont acceptées jusqu'au 31 mars 2023.

BURSARY

The Circuit Rider Trainer Professional Association is proud to offer the National First Nations Water Leadership Award Bursary program. The bursaries will be awarded to a First Nation applicant that is pursuing or furthering their career in the Water and Wastewater industry. Eligible expenditures for bursaries include the following: Water industry Conference/event attendance, travel and accommodations/meals; Courses to prepare to complete the Water and Wastewater Certification Exams; Grade 12 GED testing University or college courses (related to attaining Level III and above certification and for professional development); Other courses to benefit someone in the Water and Wastewater industry will be considered.
